Exodus 12:1–14 — The Passover lamb

Israel is spared through the blood of an unblemished lamb, and Paul explicitly identifies Christ as our Passover sacrifice. John's Passion adds Passover imagery, including the unbroken bones; its precise chronological relationship to the Synoptic accounts remains disputed.
